Allie Mason Collaborates with The Elemental Challenge - Community Spotlight!

Allie Mason teamed up with Elemental Challenge to create ‘The Autistic Adventurer’s Support Guide To The Elemental Challenge’!

We caught up with Allie to learn more about the project.

What was it about the Elemental Challenge that made you want to collaborate with them on this project?

“It would have to be the passion and enthusiasm of Elemental Challenge's founder, Helen. She reached out to see how we might be able to work together, and it was clear from the outset that she cared deeply about ensuring everyone who wanted to access the challenge would have the resources to do so.”

What was your biggest learning from writing this guide?

“That making something accessible doesn't have to be difficult or expensive! It can be as simple as presenting the right information in an easy-to-access format, as we have done with this guide.”

What feels like the biggest achievement or celebration from the project for you?

“I think this is still to come - I can't wait to hear about the first time someone uses the guide to help them decide which activities are right for them within the framework of the challenge.”
