What does your community group need?
WALKING & HIKING GROUPS: WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We have launched a survey to find out what support walking and hiking groups need to be able to create more change on diversity in the UK outdoors!
The Pilgrim Trust and All the Elements are delighted to be working together to explore how we can tackle the lack of diversity in walking and hiking in the UK. All the Elements have been invited by The Pilgrim Trust to carry out research into what support is needed to enable grassroots organisations to tackle diversity in walking and hiking and how funding bodies can support these goals.
The Pilgrim Trust is an independent grant-making trust that supports the urgent and future needs of the UK. It gives approximately £3 million in grants per year to charities and other public bodies that either focus on preserving the UK’s heritage or on catalysing social change.
The outcome of this research will be a report by All the Elements. The purpose of the report is to share ideas and recommendations on how we can create the change we all want to see in the sector by identifying what your groups actually need.
But we need to hear from you to make a difference!
Please complete the survey to tell us more about your community group and the support you need.
At the moment, we are focusing on walking and hiking, but we hope to do research into other activity groups in the future. If you know anyone who runs a walking / hiking group focused on increasing representation, we’d love it if you could share this with them.
As always, if you have any questions, please email us on hello@alltheelements.co
