About All The Elements
All The Elements CIC is a nonprofit network for everyone creating change on diversity in the UK outdoors. We work across all diversity areas, all outdoor activities and nature, conservation and environment.
We support leaders working in the space through one-to-one calls, online and in-person events, and online resources. We also provide consultancy work to the sector.
We are currently a tiny team working part-time with the support of community volunteers and are starting to grow our capacity to fulfil the growing requirements of the community. We are looking for a freelance Virtual Assistant to help us create the biggest impact possible.
About the role:
Location: Remote. Potential for occasional in-person meetings / co-working depending on location, but this is not essential.
Type of role: This is a Freelancer Role - Not an Employee Position
Rate: £15 per hour
Start Date: ASAP.
Time Commitment: Initially 4 hours per week (with potential to increase depending on funding). Hours can be worked flexibly spread across the week.

Key responsibilities:
Monitoring and organising of email inboxes and general enquiries.
Replying to general enquiries and sending follow up emails.
Diary management and meeting bookings.
Website updating, including keeping our directory and resources up to date.
Helping to develop and maintain our member database.
Admin support for ongoing projects, such as event organisation or membership launch.
Support with collecting data for impact reporting and writing up funding reports.
Collaboration with the wider team, volunteers and community to make exciting projects happen.
About you:
You are an enthusiastic, proactive administrative whizz, who can help us bring more order to our work behind-the-scenes. You will have an interest in helping us develop and streamline our processes as a small nonprofit and startup, and will be willing to get stuck in and help with things that are not even necessarily on our radar yet. Once the initial phase of systems building is done, you will be passionate about contributing to developing better ways for us to support our community as a whole.
This role is initially a 4-hour-per-week freelancer position but it does have potential to grow into a larger role in the future.
Essential
You have a desire to make the outdoors more accessible to all and representative of UK society.
You get joy and satisfaction from bringing order and putting systems in place.
You have an excellent attention to detail.
You have the ability to manage conflicting priorities and identify what needs to be done most urgently.
You take a proactive approach to tackling challenges as they arise.
You have good writing skills.
You have experience of working remotely and managing your own time.
You like meeting and working with a range of different people with different backgrounds, lived experiences, skills, areas of work and projects - we are a diverse, multidisciplinary community!
Desirable
Experience working for startups and / or in small teams.
Lived or working experience of one or more of the underrepresented groups that we represent.
Knowledge of the All The Elements community and our intersectional work.
Experience with website editing / building.
Experience of impact reporting.
Experience of volunteer management.
Experience of event organisation.
Technical skills
We use the following software and tools. We do not expect you to have used them all before, but an ability to pick up new technology would be advantageous.
