2024 Awareness Days - Key dates for our community

Over the last few years we’ve loved following the All The Elements community as you celebrate awareness days and mark important events throughout the year. From Outside: Our way amplifying the voices of disabled adventurers during Disability Pride Month, to celebrating South Asian Heritage Month with Team Vertex 33, organising a run with a DJ, south Asian music on speakers and Nepalese food. As well as so many other great celebrations and awareness campaigns.

In 2024 we want to make it even easier for you to find out what awareness days are happening across different diversity areas. This list pulls together some of the key awareness days, weeks and months, that are either UK based or celebrated internationally. We’ve tried to include as many as possible, but this list isn’t exhaustive. If there is a day that we haven’t listed here that you think we should include please let us know and we can add it.

Lastly, if you’re part of the All The Elements community or you are working on diversity in the UK outdoors and you’re planning an event around a key awareness date we’d love to hear from you. Amplifying the stories and voices of our community is one of our core aims and we’d love to share your work.
